But as a Maran, you're not supposed to be a badass who can kill the meanest, toughest, best-equipped evils around. You're supposed to kill evil to make the world a safer place. And Joe Servant the Wuss probably can't handle that stacked AP you let have his gear, and might well die as a result. That's the counterargument I'd use, as a Maran, anyway. And with a Rager, leaving some gear is generally fine, but assholish or not, there is absolutely no excuse for not saccing invis or casting gear, and potions/wands/etc.
