I did the whole invoker thing a while back...but unlike you, I had never played ANY mage class before...I just jumped right in with the invoker. But, at the time I had just graduated college and had PLENTY of free time while I was interviewing for jobs and stuff. So, time wasnt an isue.

My best advice on invokers is to just hang in there. Even with tome a number of spells were just a pain in the ass to practice. Just keep it up...dont let the lack of movement get you down. Slowly, sometimes painfully, those spells will creep up.

Dont give up. In my entire time playing CF, losing that character was my worse mistake...autodeleted.

Got all the spells avaliable to invokers...level 47-48 or whatever...tatooed by twist...in masters...only about 250 hours old...gnome...still had a load of fun time left to be around. DOnt lose faith and drop the char.
