He ambushed them while they were unprepared. (nor they expected
he would ACTUALLY attack them)
Probably he wasn't sure he can defeat them in duel,
else he would challenge them, heh, and the outcome would
be different.
Dhaevor had better fights on his side, just do a forum search
(like vs, Viscrinth/Gharik..etc.)
