Bein in cities is de worst dat you can do. Its not so much as out of the forest as out of nature. If you sat on a lake all day for a week, you'd be fine. Also, its been a while since my ranger logged hours, but i think ye can camo in desert. If not, i'm sure you can chameleon (yes sylvan treehug is good). Stick with nature you'll be fine. I just remember back to my second char ever. He was a ranger, but i knew nothing of the realm. He sat in city like my assassin had (first char) When I went to use stuff it sucked. I decided then that rangers sucked. That was a year (maybe and a half) ago. I used one again about six months ago and really enjoyed it, but still screwed up some a plenty. Stick to it, it comes with the territory, go where it feels right for your char to be. I'm also a little tired of everyone doin what's best for their char, instead of playin a role. A ranger that chills in the city 24/7 and has a story and reason for why has agreat role, its fun. You cant go out into the woods and killkillkill, but its still fun. I won't go into my rant, but remember that you should do what fits your char as to where you go, what you do, not just to what makes the numbers controlling exp, dam, hit,&& ac fit your wants.
