I'm just curious, but is it just my observation or is there no way for an orc to disarm someone until they hit level 41!? I think something related to boneshatter in the twenty something range would be right up an orcs alley from the images orcs conjure up in my mind being offensive brutes wielding big clubs or at least weaponbreaker for the same reason. ( I mean, an orc should have a chance at making a player not be able to wield a weapon like almost all other classes at a moderate level or this just leaves the orcs, tits up.) As well, any chance of orcs getting some form of regeneration or enhanced fast healing? Being distant cousins to trolls, perhaps this skill could carry over to the orcs in some way from the trolls. One other thing, the word "berserker" in my mind conjures up images of a humanoid frothing at the mouth I don't know, I may just be rambling and as I said, I am still young and not fully in touch with what my clan can do, this is just my first impression. I enjoy orcs for the most part and appreciate all the effort that has gone into them. They are a breath of fresh air in the realms. Kudos for implementing them to the Imms. I just feel they may need a bit of fine tuning and then they will be perfect. I'd appreciate feedback on this so I can see what others think so post away. I'll see you in the clan village. I'm in my mid twenties so I don't know what some of the new skills do but it appears that this is the case.
I was just wondering why grapple weapon was given at such a high level? I mean every other fighting class has a way to disarm people in their teen levels, why not orcs? I mean orcs can't even do enough -str moves to make people drop weapons and without shield block they just seem overmatched in hand-to-hand combat with any warrior and would be hard pressed to beat other fighting classes like assassins and ap's.
I mean dirt kick might blind opponents briefly but then what can you do? You can't disarm and I wouldn't recommend crushingassault against anyone with a decent dex who can dodge, you will get tuned.(and don't tell me that orcs are designed to always fight in packs and should be outmatched one on one, who in their right mind would want to play one then?)
throwing himself into battle almost like a wild animal without regard to damage done to him, only to cease when all enemies are dead or he himself dies. I can't really see how the current orcs fit this descrip entirely. I mean, the orc beserk is the same as the warrior berserk for all intents and purposes, kind of a let down in my eyes. You would think a BERSERKER CLASS would have some greater advantage while berserking. I mean the damn wimpy even makes berserking orcs flee early. I know they are cowards and all but when an orc decides to berserk, it should really mean something, like a fight to the death.
Perhaps the orc berserk might let the orc take less damage while fighting (like a resist) representing the ability to ignore all pain while in that state or perhaps to be able to fight into negative hitpoints which he must heal within a certain time after battle or he will die himself. The rager bloodthirst ability would be the first image of a true berserker in my mind but I know that it is already taken so something else would have to be implemented.
