A small rant about the Player Base and how to improve it I'm not trying to get denied again for seven days, but I really must get this off my chest. Most of you are actually decent in game. My last couple of characters aren't really that PK happy, but more of a talking nature. I've learned a new way to have fun with this game that I didn't before, and it's a great escape from my everyday hell hole of a job. Now, my problem is the other half that wants nothing more than to piss on the fun of someone else. These are the naked assassins, villagers and the rest of them that want nothing more than to piss others off. My question to you is, why? Why do it? Is there something in your life that has lead you to just kill some weak mage, and leave him with nothing? Kill a thief who is not an enemy of the village, and leave him with nothing? I don't get involved with the village and tribunal full loot war right now. I know nothing of it, so have no opinion about it. But when you go out of your way to play a naked villager, and leave everything you fight with nothing, that takes away from the fun of others who play. This isn't the first time you've done this type of build, as I'm sure you'll get inducted into the village and then get kicked out, again. I don't know why you're so angry with everyone you play against, but do you see your range when you are awake? Do you think them quitting out is good for the game? You've completely wiped out a range that had a lot of people. Congratulations to you. You win CF. You hide and take out a weak mage, or hide and take out a weak non-village enemy. Good for you. PK numbers mean nothing. As Matrik said long ago that made me laugh. I'll paraphrase, but something about hundreds of years from now data miners will come across your records, and it will still mean nothing. My solution is to have the imms just ban those who are a deterrent to the game, as this particular one is. No role play. Hide until they're weak. Kill, and then leave them with nothing. Maybe it is time for a MAJOR change to the game. Re-arrange the world! Change things so drastically that the veterans and newbie are much closer in skill and knowledge. It would take entirely to much time to do for the imms, but I think it would take some of the griefers away because they would have to start over again with gaining knowledge on where to go and how to hunt for PKs. Right now most if not all the veterans know the exact rooms where areas switch (its not super hard but just an example) so if you shift everything it will change those boundries so that vets would have to re-learn it.

I love the classes (I want to convert them for pathfinder so bad! P.S. I do have like ten diversely active characters myself (like caballed hero, non-caballed hero, levelsitting assassins, exploration chars etc for different mood and people online), but I've only deliberately deleted past 5 rank once - to free a mino spot.

You have to be a special sort of person to enjoy text gaming in the first place. You have to exist in another, more specialized category to engage in RP and PK simultaneously with any success. To persistently play in that universe while facing horrific odds, countless alliances, and even God-sanctioned avatars, takes brains and balls of the legendary sort.

If you're not stocked in skull and scrotum, it's not the game for you, especially lone wolfin' it like I do.
