Polearm spec is geared for high str giant chars. It has some cool skills but they’re situational and niche.

Dexy chars are just so much more powerful that they usually overcome the usefulness of those spec skills. ie no one ever out melees a dagger STSF drow with a polearm and lets cutoff win the day for them.

It would be neat if distance negated shit like riposte, conceal and backfist. Maybe even observing to degree. I mean how are you realistically going to do all that while being held at bay by a ten foot polearm?

I’ve only played a few and think they often look good on paper but when I play one I’m underwhelmed and I’ve never really had a char that’s been scared of pole specs.

No worries Murphy, I came charging in to correct the narrative but I saw the corrections. I really liked Kanlax.
