If you, as a Maran, tell an Acolyte "Hey.. I need your help or I'll probably die", and the Acolyte doesn't help you.. they're probably being a bad Acolyte. That's obviously vague, but there are many many scenarios where you can force a person into doing something that isn't fun via RP restrictions. Goodies generally can't abandon their allies, they can't tell them to fuck off, they can't really do much of anything about someone who's being overly demanding and annoying.

Everyone likes to say that good align has life easy (request, easier ranking, allies that don't turn on you, etc), but the downside of that is that you have to actually act GOOD, which means many times you aren't acting in your own best interests. For most players, there's a general social understanding that you don't take advantage of that fact. You don't ask a character to do something that RP-wise they would do, but fun-stick wise it would suck for them.

For whatever reason, you don't follow that social understanding though. As a player, you apparently don't value how much fun other players are having.. you only seem to value what they can do for you personally. And that's why people dislike having your characters as allies.

You're good at PK and you have a solid amount of area knowledge. In most cases, those facts would mean you'd be an awesome person to have on the team. But if you polled characters that have interacted with you.. most of them would probably prefer to have you as an enemy. Sure, they may die more. But at least they wouldn't have to tolerate you. But let me be clear - I don't "not like you". I don't know you. I couldn't name a single one of your characters besides these three consecutive ones (Eilela, Ellania, Jenaheim). Frankly, I don't particularly care about you as a person. My opinion of you and your characters is based 100% on my experiences with those three. That said, try to think about what you're saying critically. Which is more likely.
Option 1: Multiple people interacted with you and saw the exact same annoying behavior. They then individually formed negative opinions based on that behavior.
Option 2: An underground conspiracy exists to undermine your characters specifically, because you have been hand-selected by these group to be universally hated when you've done nothing to deserve it.

Which one of those is most reasonable?

And I did not enjoy being your ally with any of three of these characters, because you often made it feel like a job. As far as your roleplay, I'd just describe it as minimalist. What I will say is that I was 100% certain it was you - all three characters had the exact same habit of expecting other players to bend to their whim. I think my first interaction with you was when you were that wand-using shifter in your teens, and you basically told my 35-ish paladin to follow you around and spam heal while you tried to PK. I saw the same from the other side, when you would always have higher level characters scouting for you, or healing you or whatever. There were times I also saw you tell me (and others) to go get you preps and stuff between raids and defenses. Basically you always seemed to be asking for something.. usually something really tedious. And the nature of good align makes it hard to say no, without breaking RP.

That habit made it really, really annoying to be in a cabal with you.

If it was one character, I'd just assume you're playing the role of an entitled mage who expects other people to do whatever is asked - sounds neat. But it was the same with all three. Including an RP herald char. You took every excuse to hunt them (failing might I add) with absolutely zero RP.

Furthermore talking with other forties the general consensus was that you basically treated the Fort like it existed to serve you. Being very needy and always asking for help and hand holding with either PK, getting gear, ranking or what have you.

I saw this with my neutral herald (Exlajin) when you brought multiple hero forties to support you while you tried to trip me to death as elf bard. Now granted I was ranking in Darsylon at the start of the conflict but said I'd leave. Tried to engage in some sort of RP arc, all while walking away.

There was zero RP from you. Ever.

You know it's bad when the hero forties who are healing you as you try to kill yourself on me (neutral herald) are sending me tells apologizing to me about your actions during the fact.

Then I tried to make a fortie. And listening to you over CB was an absolute throbbing headache. I guess Fort needed your relative pk competence but holy shit it was all true. You have a massive ego about your pk chops and bro.

You got only 32 kills in 525 hours as Ellania. But you acted just like you did when you were Eilela and seemed to expect people to treat you as Ellania at lvl 15 like you were the lvl 51 veteran Maran that Eilela was. Very tilting.

You, Jalim, have no idea when or how I RP. You don't see all, or nearly all of it. Also, PK'ing as a Maran, is part of my RP because Marans are supposed to be zealots for a specific cause. Not all RP is dialog or emote driven. RP is how a character interacts with the ENTIRE game. Not just with you or one of your PERMA OOC buddies.

And I know you all coordinate. It's really obvious, when I play a lot, just how much OOC talking is going on. The amount of times I've had a level 35 assassin log on to regain an item for an enemy cabal right before the decked players get on for that cabal is more than I can count. And that's just ONE example.

I'm far from perfect, but at least I have the decency not to coordinate, constantly, via OOC means.

Again, for those of us who put in a lot of hours, it's really really really obvious those of you who do it.
