Much as I enjoyed the interview and wanted to pursue more along those lines...
I realized after logging in without the item constantly that I just wasn't feeling it. It wasn't fun, my enemies only have half a brain but are still running a full scale war on other people's momentum. Being stuck at the ranks I was with the enemies I was making despite my best efforts not to, I wasn't going to hero in like a month and was going to inevitably get booted. (Because we both know that you would have been pissed off to see me at 45 in a freaking month when you needed me at 51 approximately, oh, before I rolled the character.)
Considering how the game's been losing it's appeal with the defensive power creep coupled with a largely static Veil, I knew better and should have stuck with something more direct if I was gonna play at all. After not logging in for two days and then thinking to myself 'Man, it's gonna be the same shit stuck at this level and I'm the best unempowered ranking char in the game.' it was time to go. I love the freedom Scion offers an intelligent player but the string of minor characters in it and the interview dependent on whether I could use dam redux efficiently makes me realize I'm still not ready for it after all these years.
