So, what makes me nerdy, geeky, and lacking a F=CKING LIFE?

- The fact that I recognized Rahl as the central character of the sword of truth series? Guilty, I read science fiction & fantasy books. It could be worse, I could be an anime fan.

- The fact that I am passionate enough about CF to point out a crappy name in someones goodbye note? Guilty, I have an addictive personality and CF is one of my addictions, in the overall scheme of things, there are more harmful ones. There's a reason I will never go to Las Vegas.

- The fact that I was a jerk about it? Guilty again. In my defense I apologized. Also, I view it alot like free agency in baseball. When a favorite player leaves town for another team, his first return to the homepark can result in one of two things - getting a standing ovation thanking him for his years of playing for the home team, or getting relentlessly booed. Whether or not that player trashed your team on the way out the door greatly influences which reaction he is going to recieve on his return. Rahl's original post got mentally filed under the "trashing CF on the way out the door category", hence the kneejerk reaction to tell him to not let the door hit him in the ass on the way out.
I'm relatively secure in my geekiness and have enough of a life to simply shrug off posts of this nature aimed at me. And, if simply caring enough to respond makes me somehow an incomplete person, doesn't your response also say the same about you?
