Its not about religion for me (I'm atheist/agnostic). In my eyes I've asked myself what will happen with the other candidates. I know where that road leads - inevitably to more slow bleeding of this country. More failures, more excuses. More of the same thing that there has been for the last decade.

People say voting for Ron Paul is throwing away your vote but honestly, I voted for Bush and *that* was throwing away my vote. Every promising idea he campaigned on was thrown in the dirt the second he got into office. And its been like that for every politician I can recall.

But when I look at a guy like Ron Paul and his voting record, I don't feel like I'm throwing away my vote. I feel like he's the voice of change that might be able to undo some of the harm that has been done to this country. And when he says he stands for something and when he says he'll work towards a goal I believe him. That's more than I can say for the rest of them.

I'll probably vote for him, but he's pretty unpalatable for most people. txt

Anyone who is genuinely in favor of the rest of his ideas agrees on abortion.
