but lung cancer, emphysema and heart disease generally will. All three of the above have shown increased incidences in smokers. My grandfather was a chain-smoker as was my grandmother. He died at 61, she died in her 50s of cancer. But people should be given the right to choose how they live their lives, particularly when many smokers take cigarettes up when they are too young to realistically make an informed choice. Perhaps the cigarette companies should pay for middle-class welfare instead it seems to me that they have more of a choice than the majority of smokers.
