He wants to revert control to the states, which is how our country was handled for more than half its existence. That's not particularly extreme. He wants to get rid of the IRS, which we only created in 1913. That's not terribly extreme. He wants to get rid of the Dept. of Education, so that things will revert back to state control. That's not extreme, that just changes who makes the choices. He wants to get rid of the war on drugs, which means remove federal funding for it and let the states handle it. That's not extreme, states handle all other forms of crime. He wants to pull out of Iraq and not be so militaristic, I think most of Europe has been suggesting such for quite a while now, so apparently that's not very extreme.
