Fact: He had group sex with a girl who was too drunk to consent.

Fact: He was offered the same plea deal all of his buddies got for the same videotaped crimes. He CHOSE to try and roll the dice with the legal system, and he lost because of the next fact.

Fact: He's NOT innocent of the crimes he was accused of.

I've never understood why the huge groundswell of sympathy for this fuck. He's not innocent at all, he could have chosen to accept the same juvinile plea deal offered to his buddies and he instead decided against the advice of counsel to take the matter to court. He lost. Then after he's given the sentence he was told to expect, people want to feel bad for him? Every other guy who was arrested in this copped a plea deal because they were in fact guilty. They were all out of prison long before he was. His whole "unconstitutional sentence" was because he CHOSE to take the thing to trial for a crime there was no question whatsoever he committed. It wasn't a white/black thing, because the other guys involved were also black. It was a stupid fucker wanted to try and get off scott free thing, and it blew up in his face.
