shotgun: You left out Benelli shotguns, seriously they are the most versitile shotgut you could purchase in either pump or semi auto. All Benelli have a HUGE range of assortments you can add to the gun yourself and go from a typical hunting shotgun to a tatical shotgun that in my opinion looks ooooooh so sweet. <br> <br>Long Range Rifle: Remington for any gun means a serious gun, people have bought a Remington 50 years ago get a letter in the mail saying there is a problem they have found with the aging of the gun that may make it unstable and Remington sold that gun 50 years ago with the same guarentee that hold now that they will fix ANY mistakes with the gun and THEY will pay for it to be fixed. Even then they dont even want the gun back to replace they want to fix it because they are still guarentee'ing the rest of the gun, now that is serious commitment from any company to the quality of their product, hell infomercials dont even have them kind of guarentee's. But now for the long range part I am suprised no one else said the good old 25.06 the old school sniper rifle (sure they had modifications but it was a 25.06 to the bone) also every gun manufacture says that is the flatest shooting rifle for such a long range, surely it is not the ultimate "take down" power but if you are shooting at quaters 500 yards away this rifle with put through with ease. They even did a show on the discovery (or was it the learning? not sure) channel about rifles and they took a 50 cal. from 200 yards away and shot at water jugs all standing one behind each other, the 50 cal went through 3 jugs (destroyed them yes but went through only 3) then they took the 25.06 and shot at the water jugs 200 yars away and they 25.06 went through 8 water jugs (the hole was really only a litte bigger than the bullet itself but still that is alot of resistance to push through) but then on that same show they shot the 50 cal 200 yards away at a cinder block wall and the 50 cal not only went through the cinder block wall but left a hell of a destruction path of a hole where as the 25.06 simply hit the wall and ricochet off. Wow I got long winded but if it were me wanting a cool "sniper" style rifle the 25.06 would be my choice.
