Despite knowing a lot of people OOC through it, there are plenty of lines I draw when it comes to OOC and IC. To me, the social aspect outside the game makes it more fun, and I would be sick of the game if I didn't have those other people for encouragement. I don't talk to all of them on a regular basis, but I have a fair idea of what's going on. I can also bounce character ideas off of people so that I can come up with an interesting combo to play. <br> <br>The flip side of the problem with AIM is that I get really upset when people I know behind the scenes tell me what's going on in IMMdom (i.e. Imms playing morts abusing bugs). It's not nearly as bad as it was years ago, but it still exists. Sometimes I want to rant because of it, sometimes I don't. Sometimes the fascism of the boards gets to me, sometimes it doesn't. <br> <br>My point? I play the game to have fun, opinions of others be damned. Then, when I'm frustrated at something, I like to be able to vent that frustration. After that, people start trolling and you end up with a huge mess like what's already under this title posting. Interaction, OOC and IC, is a double-edged sword. It makes the game endlessly fun sometimes and tragically unfun other times.
