It is perfectly fine to prepare for a retrieval, say getting some gear (perhaps some of them was recently full-looted), or some preps before attempting it. <br> <br>Especially, if you announce what your plans are. <br>Perhaps they are just pansies, perhaps not. <br> <br>It all depends. If the emperor was on and told them to retrieve and they refused, they would get booted (anathema). If the sect leaders/inner guardians nudged them along and they failed, they might get demoted, or might not. <br> <br>They might just get a mark about needing to step it up a bit. If one of them had some good reasoning as to why they should wait a little longer, they might get cool points instead. <br> <br>Reserve your pansy judgement.
