I recently started playing again albeit limited. Not going to comment on all my observations...some good some really bad but anyhow back to Cabals/Inactive leaders.

I was blown away by the 'new' Pledge command' WHat a brilliant idea....

My idea is to have the Pledge command take it up a notch. If players Pledge at Rank 15 and in addition to a small power gain the ability to retrieve for their cabal that might create a system where pledges can gain 'induction points' Lets say they retrieve a few times (but cant raid to take items). Might be worth 1 point or 2. If they kill an apposing cabal enemy they get a point or two. They can have a detailed chat with an elder of the cabal or an imm. (ok I smell abuse here but lets bite...1 or 2 induction points). Voila the said character reaches 10 points and is now a member of the cabal.

Would sure free up a lot of time leader hunting and whoring to the elders for recommendations. Hell lets go even further and automate advancements in the cabal based on points. Special perks to the contributors.

Just a thought given the small player base I am seeing.
