So am I reading that there was to be a battle between two imperials... mandated by the emperor under his watch? Blood reckoning was not called and the battle began by beront(again under the watch of the emperor being online)? Destuuvius decides it's time to anathema him because blood reckoning was not called and just kind of overruled any thought or opinion of the elected emperor? This is the whole aside about 'killing' and imperial without the reckoning--which as not occured from what I can discern?

What was the need? Because Destuviuss is a hardass orderly enforcer? That he needs to push aside the Emperor before he has a chance to even think on the scenario? afterall, a mandated battle by said emperor?

The same hardass who gave a whip previously to an AP who paid and begged for aid from a Chaotic Healer of Pico, at no true repricussion? That same hardass?
