Even when I was playing a bard I thought it was a little unrealistic (even for a mud)
for bards to sing in combat while holding a violin or flute (both of which require two
hands to play) and swinging a sword or mace at the same time. So I was thinking of a
bard that was played a bit different.
It doesn't look like bards get the acapella skill anymore so I would bring that back.
You could still use instruments to sing songs but you would do so as a support char
since you wouldn't be able to wield a weapon. Once you learn acapella you could sing
whatever you wanted AND fight. This isn't much different than how bards are played now
except that you can't fight when you're holding an instrument.
I'm bringing this to you guys because I wanted to know if you see a balance issue here?
I know they'd take a hit in the PK department so what could done to counter that?
What about any other issues?
