Isn't trip a lot easier to protect against than throw? As far as I know the only way to mitigate throw is being bigger than the thrower or protective shield. I mean how awesome is trip against maran, arials, windwalk(maybe?) or anyone else that knows how to get a flying potion? Or is the rationale that you just run into more people without flying? I'm not being a smart-ass. I'm just curious.
