Any race that can pick plains/explorer. Something Dexy is likely going to be best and a race with high int would also help. You can bandage, poultice, herbs (powerful and quick [especially if edged] due to plains bonus and wanderlust), tend wounds (stops bleeding, sets broken bones, etc), group camp, and have pursuit that works (to a lesser degree) in nearly any wilderness area. You'd be a must have for nearly any raid, explore or group/ranking situation because adding the above to a natural resist to disease/poison, trap avoidance, and dangerous animal avoidance is pretty fun. I'd likely go with Arial or Gnome (wings) for the ability to fly. I played a similar build in the past and was able to heal 900ish hp via herbs/bandage/camp every 3ish ticks give or take and could do a lot of that for everyone in the group.
