i like anything with a 23 dex. you lose bearcharge lag so no need to go big and strong.

w-elf is probably my favorite because you can make avg 33 spears and staffs which is great because you lose dual wield

felar is a very sturdy build, too. it's better having 1k hp than 750 hp at hero. yay felar. and felar gear is excellent for the +hit/dam

helf/hdrw/elf are all worthwhile too.

and yes, arial is a very good race. there's an arial only bow that is in the top 5 bows damage wise. arial only gear can pack on some nice +dam.

the only giant build i'd entertain is cloud plains. great herbs, high damage bearcharge (no lag though), pursuit...but it would have to e a rager berserker to make it worthwhile. need those deathblow archery shots. but that would be a build more for fun than anything else.

terrain imbued bows all suck. and there isn't a wood-elf bonus to fashionbow and imbue bow. it's just a crappy avg 24 bow. none of the bows prog much either. heck, none of the fashion spear/staff/bow progs much outside of swampdweller. i don't know why that hasn't been addressed ever.
