It all starts with how the vision for the game was corrupted
over time into some half-assed idealistic watered-down bullshit story
that tried to shoehorn players into behaviors that were downright stupid and
not aligned with the values that made CF great (!) to begin with.

Nep and Raybaer leaving was a big blow to the game, worse
than Zulg. I feel that Nepenthe was a much better coder than Zulg (who didn't do
engineering IRL but QA) and his outlook for the game was surely miles better
in terms of generating fun for the players than the current administration's.

My guess is that had he still been active, he'd be against a lot of the kneejerk-reaction-like
changes that happened in the last 2 years and drove away most of the playerbase.

The current CF is not the CF I spent years of my life playing, so from that POV,
good fucking riddance.
