As many as it takes. CF is a grudge match and at times that battle will be fought against your own impulses to delete or give in. Don't.

Well there's your problem. I had a similar issue years ago where I'd get to 35-40 and delete. You just have to power through, especially if you are exploring new territory mob or level wise. Just get on with it. Get the notion that you won't delete under any mob-death circumstances embedded in your head, and that CON death due to mob death/PK loss is a badge of honour. Set small, manageable goals to achieve. Achieve them.
It's really the only way.
