Malaise

It has been a while since I have felt a real connection with another character. I've always been something of a loner in my playstyle, but for the last couple years I've felt like I've sat down at a lunch table inhabited by a close-knit group of friends. They exchange obligatory pleasantries, but in short order they go back to their conversation and all I can do is listen--there is no room for me in their dialogue.
