Either way, the Battle cabal is one of the longest running, mostly unchanged cabal in the game. Ysal has been running it for forever and a day and there's just tons of precedent in place for how it runs. I'm just not surprised that he didn't get a reply when emailing them to say what they're doing wrong. It'd be like emailing Matt Groening and telling him what he's doing wrong with the Simpsons.

Not to mention the fact that it's pretty well known that imms prefer you to post game commentary and opinion on the gameplay forum for public discussion rather than email them privately. It works better for both sides. It gives the player a chance to build a consensus if their ideas are really good and it saves the imms from having to deal with players who get disgruntled when they don't reply to the stupid shit they email them.
