Good aligns outside Fort don't go scot-free either.
But what people seem to want is to be allowed to just roleplay an emo for 1 hour and then go back to business. When it doesn't work, they try to roleplay an emo for 100 hours and then go back to business. But the answer is: you need to do something other than roleplay an emo.
Not all Good people will even display visible remorse. Just like anyone else, Good people may subscribe to the idea that showing emotion is weak. What all Good people must do, however, is try and take measures to prevent having to kill other Good people. Smart Good people are also expected to foresee these situations, and try to prevent incidents in advance.
It's much more difficult as a Good Rager. A Trib may hope to convince people to conform to the law for a time, but good luck telling someone to abandon magic.
