"And a lot of 150-PK dudes are like 150/80. That's not elite."
I'd say it takes a certain lower threshold of ability to get 150 kills, even if you're also giving up 80 deaths. That number being somewhat arbitrary. I wasn't trying to identify the "best of the best". Rather, the somewhat larger set of people who I'd regard as "pretty good at PK".
I agree with you that some people who
could get there haven't gotten there because they're not willing to adopt a style of play that maximizes PKW. Great example: anybody who chooses to play good-aligned characters, since they automatically lose 2/3 of the game as potential targets.
You make a good point, though. I should have included a PK% requirement to go with the PKW threshold. "150 and 80" is a PK% of 65%. For what it's worth, no character in the top 50 by PKW has a PK% below 70%. Once you get to about the #75 mark you start seeing some that are close to (or below) 65%:
59% Alzinghul (orc)
65% Kraldinor (empire shaman)
67% Iklahn (nexus ranger)
67% Urog (duergar thief emperor)
63% Serra (battle assassin)
67% Quas (pincersvirf)
60% Kurbrawn (fire warrior empire)
54% Arratok (duergar battle warrior)
66% Kaer (fire outlander warrior)
Not sure which of those I'd disqualify based on PK%. Are we going to say a character with 196 PKW (Alzinghul) is really not that good at PK because he died too often? Might drop Arratok.
