I've basically never played mages. Is a thin veil much of a practical help to a mage? Would you expect to be able to do more solo with a thin veil? Stronger damage on spells or something?

Of the mages, which benefits most? I would assume shapeshifter doesn't get much out of it and invoker probably gets the most?

The only thing I've ever seen that I can remember that I was told was veil was a faerie fire that chained to multiple enemies.
