If I know someone's afk, I won't kill them unless they've somehow earned it in my view. I know I let Buon off the hook several times when it was obviously afk. He never showed any gratitude, but he never did anything to deserve an afk death. If something needs my attention in RL, I want to be able to attend to it without thinking I'll lose my shinys. I'd like other people to feel the same way. But, it's personal preference. I had someone flee and drop link not too long ago, but didn't report it because they sucked anyway.
