Thanks everyone. I’ve had several successful fighting thieves with 100+ pkills who didn’t have these two skills.

I guess I was hoping for a Flaaayin/ norington answer like...

Why would you skip skip grntlewalk? Your 5 best trap ingredients would be impossible to get?

Or...even without gentle walk /advanced pick... there are equitable top trap ingredients for each damage affect

Bonus question: Can a thief solo retrieve stone form amulet? Gentle walk and advanced pick required? Doable without pickpocket skills?
