If it were me, I'd go with whispers and bird edges and definitely swords. For another legacy I might consider soul, just so you have some extra HP in the mix. You could also consider enigma, because there are some useful offense wands and you'd be able to eat speckled pills or quaff returns in combat, which can be useful depending on where you're exploring. I might even give fires a try, because if you're only fighting mobs you don't worry so much about direct damage. Oh, you know, that's an interesting build... hours/fires. You could get low and then use speckled pills to stay in the range where your defenses and riposte are going nuts. Add in black hammer pendants and you might could be onto something.
