Your second scenario, in real life, the chaser finds another way around and continues to track. In game they don't. Your third scenario, in real life, the drug dealer goes somewhere else or returns when the heat is off. In game they don't.

Argument can always accomplish something. Just because I require rationally consistent arguments doesn't mean I don't listen and consider them. It's not my fault that instead of coming up with some rational for action A or B you just draw arbitrary emotionally based lines and call anyone crossing them a dick.

By the way, on the fun stick argument. It's very unfun for me to lose my coins. Do you take coins when you win a fight? It's unfun for me to lose 1/3 con. Am I exempt from PK? I'm not joking either. I really hate those two things. I'd rather lose my shitty equipment that I can gather within the ghost timer than lose my hard earned coin and finite con.
