Good all-around class for solo?

What would be your top pick for a good all-around class/build for most aspects of the game (PK + explore)?

Due to my playtimes, I'm usually solo. I'd like to be able to explore and PK with a single character through low levels and hero. Not looking to be the best at any single thing, but capable in most areas.
