Ignoring all the perks of lowering dex

1) lowers item carry limit a bit
2) lowers skills that rely on dex
3) dodge characters usually have minimal carry weight + str stat coverage to prevent weapon drop, which means you'll rarely nerf strength to effect carry weight where dodge will be significantly impacted
4) 25 dex max weight dodges better than 15 dex max weight and probably better than 3 dex no weight. So nuking dex will always help, where as nuking strength might do nothing at all to dodge.

I would laugh when anyone used a pure -str thing on my bards.
Though really, both strength and dex are very easy to cover to +15 with relative ease, so unless you're fighting assassins or dagger specs for way too long, most vets are not worried about stat loss.

Cross for Giant Warriors

paek July 09, 2018 09:53AM

I have never witnessed a side using cross win the fight (n/t)

Kstatida July 10, 2018 01:35AM

Before your time.....

Mjothvitnir July 10, 2018 05:18PM

But you think dressing up in white bed sheets and buring one on my lawn is winning a fight.

Frosty July 10, 2018 05:31AM

I love it. Others hate it.

Mjothvitnir July 09, 2018 10:54AM

Have always loved it for certain kinds of fights. Even on non-giants, though giant's really rock it well(especially against a vuln_blunt opponent). (n/t)

I wonder about 2 jabs vs cross.

zannon July 12, 2018 10:31AM

Jab is more often the better pick because of the 1v2 rounds of lag.

Frosty July 12, 2018 06:35PM

Pretty sure jab only causes bleeding with an edge. (n/t)

bloodmoon July 12, 2018 12:45PM

What is the 150 club?

zannon July 11, 2018 10:53AM

Having a character with 150 or more PKs.

Frosty July 11, 2018 02:53PM

It's like the PEN 15 club

Bastard step child of sword spec

mcbeth July 09, 2018 03:56PM

I never prac it.

Rhyaldrin July 09, 2018 04:29PM

Dent is worth practicing.

Frosty July 09, 2018 08:12PM

Difference is

Kstatida July 10, 2018 01:36AM

You're right about Ryebread but wrong about me, as usual.

Frosty July 10, 2018 05:21AM

It does a big -dex. I think something like -8 to -12 (n/t)

Quas July 10, 2018 04:17AM

This may change my opinion about dent. Assuming you're not wrong. You're wrong a lot.

Rhyaldrin July 10, 2018 09:01AM

He is right but Im not sure to that degree

TJHuron July 10, 2018 04:08PM

I think it is str/level dependent and not every hit

Quas July 10, 2018 06:22PM

This!

Spronti July 10, 2018 06:26AM

Dodge is nerfed via weight reduction with -str. There's no need for additional -dex debuffs (n/t)

Kstatida July 10, 2018 06:33AM

Why doesn’t my giant dodge as well as the elf?

TJHuron July 10, 2018 04:10PM

Oh you're a smartass aren't you

Kstatida July 10, 2018 09:35PM

This is funny

zannon July 11, 2018 10:48AM

I can confirm that full weight limit elf tanks with face.

MiyagiYojimbo July 10, 2018 09:57PM

You heard it from the master himself people! There's no need to use -dex maladictions in CF. Bob dylan is still correct.

Frosty July 10, 2018 03:28PM

Kob Statidylan

Kstatida July 10, 2018 11:27PM
