Carry lots of curatives, particularly for plague and blindness.

Healing potions in your inventory also useful.

Use these to draw out fight a bit.

Try to land lot and Kan.

Disarm using crescent kick if you don't know the weapon.

Time your lag so that you don't immediately re-enter the lagging move.

Or just assassinate from wilds.

Mark of prey also useful as sometimes they'll blind and start healing just a room away.

If you can cut them, so they bleed, that'll need their regen. Useful if trying retrieval.
