I use zmud, but I'm sure I'm terribly inefficient at it. However, if I understand what you want, I think I know how to do it.

1) input: tgtx = name
2) "crtl + k" then the buttons you want, e.g. "alt + n", "alt + s"
3) input emote, e.g. "nod @tgtx" or "smile @tgtx"
