I'm wanting to roll a new mage and looking for suggestions.

Most of the casters I've played were necromancers, and a few shaman. The last mage I played was an invoker, but that was too much spell practicing since I went 7 paths. I also had an offense-major, defense-minor shapeshifter once, but that was before things like edges and greater enlivens. Those are the only mages I've played passed level 15, besides the necromancers.

I also like playing assassins, rangers, and warriors. My last char was for exploring so I want to focus on PK with the next. I don't mind slow leveling. I do like logging in and having a PK range full of people that want to kill me. I like all alignments and ethea.

I'm thinking I about an offense-major, air-minor shapeshifter. I also thought a conjurer might be interesting.

Do any bored people have ideas or opinions about a good race/class/cabal combo to try for a PK-focused, non-invoker, non-necromancer mage?
