Everyone who complained that they couldn't find a ranking group as a mage.

It was to prove that not only was it very viable to solo rank a mage (in what was pretty good time) but that you could even get some benefits from taking this path. All the mages I used, had parry above 90%. They also had their wand abilities quite high, and things like my AP benefited greatly from getting all except his two-handed weapons up to 95%, and nearly perfecting his parry as well. I didn't have time to test pk with any of them, but I imagine they'd excel quite easily at it (given the right class versus the right situation).

With these numbers, and hopefully a few tips, everyone will be encouraged to at least try ranking if there are no tanks to group with. Exploration was also key to a lot of the strength my mages gained as they made liberal use of quest gear, wands and very specific mobs.
