I used to play then too. I never ranked past 30. I perma'd with a friend and we'd just rape everyone. We group killed. We full looted not to be dicks (we were already enough) but to sort through all the loot, ID it all, etc. It was fun, but it got old and did F over others playing on the same perma field.

We ended up teaming together instead by playing totally different characters whose paths crossed only occasionally, but instead figured out all the areas and tricks and cabals and shared that info, and shared logs and stories of PKs (and yes, cool loot). And yeah, we wouldn't hand each other eq, but would say if we saw something cool laying on the ground somewhere >:-)

Now I know all the eq and don't full loot at all, and rarely get full looted at higher ranks. It's awesome.
