Just as spelling mistakes are easy to see past, in that you can understand the intended message without much effort, so is capitalisation (or lack thereof).
I agree that some basic punctuation is needed to avoid ending up like that chapter in James Joyce's Ulysses (which was even more painful to read that the rest of the incredibly boring book). Other than that, I'm reasonably happy if I can understand what they mean without effort.
To me, it feels quite strange to worry about whether or not a capital letter is being used when, in your head, it all represents the spoken word and not the written word anyway.
By all means, feel free to raise the point, but those that don't agree will be free to argue it (like me).
I was very annoyed to find that a good (imo) character of mine, Baendra, was shunned by her god because back then I didn't always capitalise. I've had some shit characters in my time (like my current one, which just hasn't suited me rp-wise), but Baendra deserved a tatt imho, and instead I just got criticised for not capitalising!? If it wasn't for the priviledge of being around characters like Optomkiptum and Lokaine (or whatever the evil paladin was called), I'd have been much more annoyed about that.
