Basically they can make the best use of spear

January 03, 2008 08:02AM
Every other race has to give up more to take advantage of the advantages of a spear, and a spear IS a very nice weapon.

Remember that if you are caballed, as well, you don't necessarily have the be the one making someone sleep.

What are the requirements for Spine of the Akragaka? nt

dervish January 02, 2008 11:32PM

Requirements

torak January 03, 2008 08:57AM

What about charge? Have you practiced it? nt

dervish January 03, 2008 10:54AM

Charge has nothing to do with Spine~

torak January 03, 2008 11:38AM

One i know is to not be a felar. nt

crafteddeception January 03, 2008 06:19AM

Which seems really silly, all things considered. nt

Game balance

daurwyn(VIP) January 03, 2008 07:35AM

If they aren't who are then? It sure as hell aren't drow anymore. ~

happyorb January 03, 2008 11:01AM

IMHO Felars have the lowest strength, and are easily disarmed so.

Yhorian(VIP) January 03, 2008 07:41AM

Irongrip can not prevent it? nt

dervish January 03, 2008 08:03AM

Only no-disarm can prevent strength loss dropping a weapon. nt

Yhorian(VIP) January 03, 2008 08:05AM

It's not that hard to cover against strength loss and pick a light weapon

daurwyn(VIP) January 03, 2008 08:10AM

You parry worse with light weapon and probably hit less nt

dervish January 03, 2008 10:21AM

You're wasting your time worrying about weight. Worry about weapon type (axe/mace/flail/etc).

Krilcov January 03, 2008 02:06PM

NT Above. ~

Krilcov January 03, 2008 02:07PM

False. n/t

Pro January 03, 2008 10:55AM

Yet to see doesn't mean they are the weakest

daurwyn(VIP) January 03, 2008 08:01AM

So what's a weaker AP race then?~

Enbuergo January 03, 2008 09:16AM

Talking tactics with a felar AP, I'd still a non-spear weapon for better offense and defense.

I second the notion

Mort January 03, 2008 07:54AM

Basically they can make the best use of spear

daurwyn(VIP) January 03, 2008 08:02AM

I suppose...

Mort January 03, 2008 08:19AM

Wherein I shoot myself in the foot and blow my leg off by mistake

ExPaladin(VIP) January 03, 2008 08:24AM

I haven't fought any particularly competent ones, no

Mort January 03, 2008 08:38AM

Except being furry. They have the monopoly on the fluffy, cuddly Ap niche. nt
