I'm sure this is a very noobish question, but I wasn't sure and figured I'd check. To avoid a bash, are you always looking to get two size categories different than them? Or do you always just want to be as big as you can be? Like if a giant is coming, I can go from medium to large to be the same size, or from medium to small to be too small to bash.

I guess there is a range of about 5 sizes, correct? From a reduced gnome being the smallest, then regualar gnome, then human, giant, and then enlarged giant? Is that totally off? Which ranges of these stop bashes?
