My characters have not come close to that kind of attention, even the ones I've really tried to succeed with. And I still have no problem with it. I guess I'm just not as sensitive to such things.

A cliche suggestion, but why not use the fact that this char got 2700 IMM xp as motiviation to see if you can do better? Or if you are dead set in your mind that this will never happen, then don't cry over spilled milk.
