Myself included, people get frustrated with CF when something doesn't go quite their way, or the way they had envisioned things. Maybe you're having trouble getting empowered, got full looted, got demoted in your cabal or removed from the cabal, had a bad interaction that hinders your character from further success, lost to your nemesis (again), or whatever the case may be. CF can be downright frustrating at times. But that's part of what makes the growth of a character. The people who stick things out are the ones who reap the most reward. The people who take the challenge that is CF are the memorable characters throughout the rich history of CF. The biggest thing I've learned about this (addictive) game, is that everything is a pendulum. What comes around, goes around. For every low, there will eventually be an equal high.
The one caveat to this is, that throwaway characters are most affected by the CF frustration. The people lacking roles and an individualized roleplay are the people more susceptible to this frustration (which invariably leads to the infamous RAGE DELETE). Lately, I have been guilty of this. I've deleted several characters right in a row because of frustration. Then I think back to some of the characters that have been most memorable to me (not necessarily in CF history, though), and the one thing they all had in common, was the extra effort I tried to put into them. The extra creativity or individualism put into these characters. How instead of planning my entire character's life out, I let the game itself allow them to grow. So I recommend to those people who become frustrated easily, to try to breathe a little extra life into your next character. CF may give you lemons at times, but it can also be a rich experience, if you allow yourself that opportunity.
If you feel too frustrated, do what I do. Log out for a bit, and go do some other hobby. I'd go and play drums, or hit the punching bag, or take my bike out for a spin. And when you log back in, hopefully you have some positive thinking again.
