What percentage of those characters' deaths were also to warriors?

I'm almost certain that the high percentage of warrior kills can be at least partly blamed on the fact that warriors are the most populous class in the game. They also don't have hide. In order for an AP to kill someone he has to them, which gives a thief (who doesn't wan to fight) an instant advantage, unless we're talking about a duergar AP or one with progged detect hidden.

Also, consider that the standard staff recommendation is that newbies play warriors. If they take that advice, then there should be a ton of clueless warriors running around.

Also consider that APs have a lot of built-in conflict with the Battle cabal, and that the Battle cabal contains a disproportionate number of warriors.
