Nexus is the remnants of Master after Valguarnera Trisseptia, the then mortal leader of Masters, betrayed his Magi in his search for power. Twist and his followers then vowed to never allow such a blatant abuse of power wreak havoc on the world again. I know there were a lot of other quests and stories involved with it as well. Some mage tried to grab for power or something and freed Twist. Wasn't playing during that time. I was a Lord Adept of Necromancy when Valg was workin on his quest for Scion. I was a part of it but didn't realize what was going on and deleted. I've regretted that ever since. (Also had 1 of my lichquest items and Valg had two of them for me it turns out I've heard.)
