Testing. Why I so gay and love Yakov??

I think it's harmful to the game that all cabals don't recruit early. We have a few cabals who only cater to 51s, and pretty much ignore all of the other ranks. I'm going to pick on Scion here especially. They are a mage guild, and in general they only recruit mages who are useful (mostly above level 35 or 40). Before these levels mages are un-useful glass-cannons that end up as warrior - fodder.

Meanwhile, village inducts liberally at around level 20 or so. This takes a pre-existing imbalance (warriors dominate mages at low levels) and adds a snowball effect (village warriors clusterfuck mages at low levels).

As far as game balance, the immortals have clearly balanced the game for level 51. They are very much aware of each classes "power potential". Every evil mage class is balanced so that when they have A/B/S, stoneskin and 1200+ hps it's a good fight against a village warrior. What happens when the mage has 400 hps and no A/B/S is obvious.

So my question is this, why shouldn't Scion induct mages at low levels so that these low level mages can:

A) fight marginally better.
B) be more useful for ranking groups.
C) *gasp* possibly pvp at low ranks + strike fear into the hearts of lowbies + noobs in the name of Scion?



One of my first experiences on CF many years ago was getting my ass beat by two scions with nightwalkers at level 15. I got full looted, and I thought they were evil fucking bastard sons-of-bitches. No more?
