Yes, yes, I know there are a dozen ways to use bloodthirst against the villager and have them die horribly. It doesn't change the fact that I've had many of them gushing (while I'm at near full health) then they thirst and I end up dying in a close fight. Deathblow, for me, usually only makes a bad situation worse, like being caught on unprepped.
